2 gunned down in Rizal

CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna, Philippines – Two persons were killed and another was wounded in gun attacks in Rizal on Wednesday.

Teofelo Manuel Sr. and Joery Manga were standing by the roadside in Barangay Manggahan in Rodriguez town when they were shot, police said.

Manuel died at the scene.  Manga was wounded and taken to the H-Vill Hospital for treatment.

In Antipolo City, John Mark Cinco was standing in front of a sari-sari store in Barangay Mambugan when the assailant who pretended to be a customer shot the victim at close range.

Probers still have no leads on the motives for the killings.
