BUTUAN CITY, Philippines — Twelve minors and a 19-year-old were rescued from a cybersex den in Purok 5, Barangay Ambago, Butuan City, Agusan del Norte on Thursday.

Authorities said four of the victims are aged one to three years old and considered “children at risk.”

The other victims, who are between 11 to 17 years old, were allegedly forced to engage in sexual acts to online clients and paid between P2,000 to P20,000 depending on their “performance.”

A 28-year-old woman and her partner were arrested based on a warrant issued by Butuan City Regional Trial Court Branch 33 Judge Isam Echem-Tangonan for child pornography under Republic Act 10175 or Cybercrime Prevention Act.

The couple reportedly yielded five improvised guns, a caliber .38 revolver, ammunition and bladed weapons.
