Lotto players ?get weekend windfall

MANILA, Philippines — Two lotto players received windfalls Sunday night after winning the jackpots for the Ultra Lotto 6/58 and the Super Lotto 6/49 draws.

A bettor who bought the winning ticket from an outlet at the SM City San Lazaro mall in Manila guessed the winning combination, 25-31-07-28-18-27, for the Super Lotto 6/49 draw, which carried a jackpot of P142,668,428.80, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office said.

Forty-eight players won P25,080 each for guessing five of the six-digit winning combination.

The Super Lotto 6/49 jackpot was last won on Jan. 29 by a bettor from Imus, Cavite, who took home a jackpot of P15.8 million. 

A bettor who bought the winning ticket from a lotto outlet along Rizal Avenue in West Tapinac, Olongapo City won the Ultra Lotto 6/58’s prize of P72,169,131.40 by guessing the winning combination 06-17-04-26-08-15.

The Ultra Lotto 6/58 jackpot was last won on Feb. 24 by a bettor in Biñan City, Laguna, who receive P49.5 million.
