3 dead in motorbike mishaps

TUGUEGARAO CITY, Cagayan, Philippines — Three motorcycle riders, including a minor, died in separate road accidents in Cagayan and Ilocos Norte on Monday.

Bernard Aquino’s motorcycle rammed a bridge in Barangay Carig, Iguig, Cagayan at around 8:30 p.m.

Franky Palacpac was thrown off his motorcycle when it collided with a mobile rice thresher along the highway in Barangay Tallang, Baggag.

Limuel Cabrera, 15, was driving a motorcycle owned by his companion Cristopher Ulep, 28, when it rammed a plant box near Gilbert bridge in Laoag, Ilocos Norte.

Ulep was injured and remained confined at the Laoag City General Hospital yesterday.

In Benguet, four workers were injured when their delivery truck plunged into a 30-meter ravine in Atok town yesterday.
