Girl, 12, dies in road mishap

CAMARINES NORTE , Philippines  – A 12-year-old girl died in a road accident in Sta. Elena, Camarines Norte on Tuesday.

Ashley Shane Chua, a resident of Barangay Kabuluan, was crossing the street when a Toyota Hilux driven by Ronnie Aban, 42, hit her.

Chua was pronounced dead on arrival at the  St. Peter Hospital in Calauag, Quezon.

Aban was arrested and is being held at the Sta. Elena police station.
