Preacher shot dead in church

BUTUAN CITY, Philippines – A pastor of the Lord Jesus Christ Fellowship Church was shot dead during a church service in Barangay Jubgan in the coastal town of San Francisco in Surigao del Norte on Sunday.

Unidentified motorcycle-riding gunmen shot Allan Ursabia, 45, a resident of Barangay Washington, while he was preaching around 9:30 a.m., a report of San Francisco police to the Police Regional Office 13 showed.

Ursabia was pronounced dead on arrival at the Surigao Medical Center.

Police recovered bullets shells for a caliber .45 pistol at the scene. An investigation is underway.
