Batangas bettor wins lotto jackpot

MANILA, Philippines - A bettor from Batangas became this year’s first lotto millionaire after winning the jackpot in the 6/45 Mega Lotto draw on Friday, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) announced yesterday.

Jose Ferdinand Rojas II, PCSO acting chairman, said the still unidentified winner picked the six-digit winning combination 32-24-12-28-31-18, which has a total jackpot of P22.16 million.

Forty others won P34,130 each after picking five of the six-digit winning  combination.

Rojas said the winner bet P20 for a lucky pick number at a lotto outlet in San Pascual, Batangas.

The 6/45 Mega Lotto is drawn every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
