Guerrero assumes Wesmincom top post

ZAMBOANGA CITY, Philippines – Lt. Gen. Rustico Guerrero, the marine commander who led the hunt against the members of the Jemaah Islamiyah and Abu Sayyaf bandits formally took over yesterday as the new chief of the Western Mindanao Command.

Guerrero, a former chief of the Western Command based in Palawan, replaced his “mistah” Lt. Gen. Rey Ardo, who retired from the military service.
