Lokin replaces husband, pitted vs Bataoil anew

DAGUPAN CITY, Philippines – It’s a return bout for re-electionist Pangasinan second district Rep. Leopoldo Bataoil and former CIBAC party-list representative  Kim Lokin.

Lokin, a former television personality, filed her certificate of candidacy as substitute for her husband last Friday.

Lokin told The STAR her party mates convinced her to try her luck again, citing her good standing in surveys.  

“They say it would be easier now,” she said, adding that she has more allies now and her leaders remain intact.
