Woman held for P2-M shabu

MANILA, Philippines - A 41-year-old woman was arrested yesterday at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3 for alleged possession of shabu worth P2 million.

Disa Kandu Ali, of Dasmariñas, Cavite, yielded 500 grams of methamphetamine hydrochloride when screeners of the Office of Transportation Security checked her luggage, according to the Philippine National Police Aviation Security Group.

Ali was turned over to the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency.

The suspect was bound for Iloilo when she was intercepted.
