Vendor claims P30.1-M lotto pot

MANILA, Philippines - A market vendor claimed yesterday the P30.1-million jackpot of the 6/45 Mega Lotto’s Aug. 9 draw, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) announced.

The woman had been betting on the winning combination, 01-07-14-28-44-45, for the past 20 years, PCSO general manager Jose Ferdinand Rojas II said.

The vendor, who remains single at 50, plans to share her winnings with her siblings, shoulder the education of her nephews and nieces, donate to the church, get a house of her own and open a grocery store, he said.

The 6/45 Mega Lotto is drawn every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
