Truck hits house, driver stabs occupant

MANILA, Philippines - A man was stabbed by a driver whose truck had crashed into his house in Tugatog, Malabon City Saturday morning.

Mark Tyron Santos, 32, heard a noise outside his house on Inocencia street at around 8 a.m., according to a police report. When he went out to check, he saw a truck had hit the side of his house.

Santos confronted the driver, identified as Juner Bautista of Care Products Inc. The argument led to a fight, during which Bautista reportedly stabbed Santos with a screwdriver. Bautista fled after the incident and is the subject of a manhunt, police said.
