Justice chief reorganizes 2 NBI offices
MANILA, Philippines — Justice Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre II has issued department orders to reshuffle the members of two offices of the National Bureau of Investigation.
Department Order Nos. 461 and 462 tackle the reorganization of the Cybercrime Division under the Office of the Assistant Director for Investigation Service and Digital Forensic Laboratory under the Office of the Assistant Director for Forensic Investigation Service of the NBI.
Both department orders were dated July 4.
Aguirre appointed Head Agent Manuel Eduarte as the chief of Cybercrime Division while Special Agent Alex Bautista was named executive officer.
Meanwhile, Special Agent Victor Lorenzo will serve as the new chief of the Digital Forensic Laboratory, while Special Agent Christopher Paz was assigned executive officer.

Aguirre ordered the reshuffling of NBI offices amid corruption allegations involving the members of the two offices.
Last week, Aguirre also issued Department Order No. 460 which created a fact-finding committee that will probe NBI officers implicated in the raids n the offices of Intellcash International Inc., Datacentric Corp. and Delta Clout.
