Manila Doctors opens new medical tower

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines – With an untiring spirit of compassion and devotion, Manila Doctors Hospital has reached 60 years with greater strength than ever.

Last Dec. 8, a ribbon-cutting ceremony led by former president and now Manila Mayor Joseph Estrada and Metrobank Group chairman George S.K. Ty officially opened its new medical tower – the Norberto Ty Medical Tower II.

Driven by its promise to provide safe, quality and affordable healthcare to all its patients, the 18-story Norberto Ty Medical Tower II will house a number of additional medical and diagnostic services including linear accelerator, brachytherapy, vascular clinic and cancer center.

Adhering to its vision of becoming one of the leading centers of excellence and wellness in the country, the Norberto Ty Medical Tower II is also expected to increase bed capacity from 300 to 500 beds.

As one of the top five hospitals in Metro Manila, Manila Doctors continuously seeks to provide quality and safe patient care recognized by international accreditors. Manila Doctors is an ISO 9001: 2015 accredited institution and is acknowledged by the Accreditation Canada International since 2010, and a reporting member of good standing of the United Nations Global Compact.
