Shangri-La's Mactan offers Golden Sunset Yacht Cruises and More

CEBU, Philippines - Shangri-La’s Mactan Resort and Spa now offers Sunset Cruises every Wednesday and Saturday from 4:30 – 6:00 p.m. aboard the M/S Vianelle Trimaran Ketch Yacht. For only P2,300 net, in-house guests will enjoy unparalleled views of the golden Mactan sunset, flowing chilled tropical juice, soda and wine as well as exquisite hot and cold canapés such as Prawn Catalan and Olive on Skewer, Vietnamese Chicken Spring Rolls with Sweet Chili Dip, Brie with Onion and Marmalade on Rye Bread, Thai Chicken Satay with Peanut Dip, Chili Pork Skewers, Fish Cake with Sweet and Sour Sauce and Island Fruit Skewers.

The M/S Vianelle is the largest Trimaran Ketch yacht in the Philippines and measures 72 feet long and 34 feet wide. It boasts of a fiber glass interior and teakwood interior, state-of-the-art navigation system, two bathrooms and a fully-equipped kitchen. To make the sunset cruise experience more memorable, pipe-in music is also made available with an i-pod compatible sound system.

For guests who would like to arrange a more private sea affair with family or friends, the M/S Vianelle may also be chartered for a private cruise. Exclusive Yacht Charters begin at P30,000 net for two hours plus an additional P7,000 for each succeeding hour. Rates quoted are exclusive of food and beverage but special menus maybe developed by the Food and Beverage Team of Shangri-La’s Mactan Resort and Spa upon request.

An intimate dining experience aboard the M/S Vianelle may also be realized with the Romance By The Sanctuary Dinner Package. For only P3,500 net per person, a three course set dinner including a Poached Seafood Platter, Parrot Fish and Prawns Cooked in Banana Leaves, Dessert and a glass of wine. Romance By The Sanctuary is offered daily from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Shangri-La Marine Sanctuary for a minimum of two pax and a maximum of 10 pax.
