MANILA, Philippines — Veteran actors Michael de Mesa and Dina Bonnevie were all praises for the acting skills of former "Pinoy Big Brother" housemate Fyang Smith.

Michael and Dina portray Divino and Katarina Verona, the parents of Fyang's character, Raya, in the upcoming Prime Video series "Love Is Never Gone."

Michael and Dina said that they were surprised by Fyang's talent at the show's press conference last week held in Gateway Mall, Quezon City.

“I also want to give a special mention to [Fyang]. I told her this eh na for a newcomer, she really has something to offer and I believe that she will be one of our future best actresses, si Fyang,” Michael said.

“Magaling siya. She knows her job, she knows her character, basta. Magaling siya in general. Like I said, she has the potential to be a really really great actor,” he added.

Dina echoed Michael's sentiments, saying she now considers Fyang as her "baby girl."

“I would say just like Michael said, Fyang has a lot to offer. I mean she has a lot to promise her audience. She is a multi-faceted performer,” Dina said.

Michael, Dina and Fyang join Joshua Garcia and Ivana Alawi in the romance thriller  “Love is Never Gone,” the first Filipino series shot in Morocco that will stream on Prime Video beginning this May 8.
