MANILA, Philippines — Coco Martin revealed that there were signs and premonitions of Jaclyn Jose saying goodbye.

According to an ABS-CBN News report, Coco said that in one of Jaclyn's last scenes in "Batang Quiapo," she shed tears with Ivana Alawi as if the latter was her daughter.

When asked why she cried a lot, Jaclyn reportedly said, "Kasi parang isa-isa nang nawawala 'yung mga character sa kulungan eh.”

Jaclyn played the role of Chief Dolores Espinas, the corrupt jail chief who oversees the prison where Coco's Tanggol is imprisoned.

Coco also recalled that his last goodbye with Jaclyn felt different.

'Yun pala, hindi namin alam, may nangyari na pala," he said.

Coco said that he received a call from Jaclyn's sister, Veronica Jones, last Sunday at around 6 p.m.

Siyempre nagulat talaga lahat kami.

Jaclyn succumbed to heart attack last March 2. She was 60.
