'The Filipino is worth dying… INSIDE': Isko Moreno to play Ninoy Aquino in upcoming Darryl Yap movie

MANILA, Philippines — Actor-turned-politician Isko Moreno will play Ninoy Aquino in the upcoming movie "Martyr of Murderer."

Director Darryl Yap announced Isko's casting in his Facebook account. 

"Isko Moreno as Ninoy Aquino. The Filipino is worth dying… INSIDE," Darryl wrote. 

The Viva Films movie is the sequel of the much-criticized film, "Maid in Malacanang."

In his past interview, Darryl said that "Martyr or Murderer" is set to release in February 2023, in time for the celebration of the Edsa People Power Revolution anniversary.
