Is Alden Richards going to ABS-CBN Ball? Kathryn Bernardo reacts

MANILA, Philippines — Kapamilya star Kathryn Bernardo affirmed that she will walk down the upcoming ABS-CBN Ball red carpet with boyfriend Daniel Padilla, but she also hopes to see "Hello, Love, Goodbye" co-star Alden Richards in the ball.

Following the recent launch of Pond's new "See What Happens" campaign that aims to empower women to overcome hesitations, Kathryn revealed in an exclusive interview with Philstar.com that Alden "wants to go" to the ball.

"I'm not sure if they allowed him to go," Kathryn shared, insinuating that Alden has to ask permission either or both from his home network, GMA, and from GMA's rival ABS-CBN, before he could attend the ball.

"Hindi ko alam, pero kung pupunta s'ya, he's very welcome," enthused Kathryn.

Kathryn and Alden's "Hello, Love, Goodbye" was recently hailed as the highest-grossing Filipino film in Philippine history. — Video by EC Toledo IV
