Maine Mendoza proud of Alden Richards’ ‘Hello, Love, Goodbye’

MANILA, Philippines — Kapuso actress Maine Mendoza admitted that she has not seen the movie of AlDub love team partner Alden Richards with Kapamilya actress Kathryn Bernardo, “Hello Love Goodbye,” but said that she is proud of Alden. 

During her contract signing as brand ambassador for Betadine Fresh Bliss on Thursday, Maine invited the public to watch Alden and Kathryn’s movie.  

“Congratulations sa kanila ni Kathryn. Panoorin niyo po kasi maganda ‘yung pelikula kahit hindi ko pa napapanood, naikwento na rin kasi sa akin. Napanood ko na rin sa trailer, so mukhang maganda talaga siya,” Maine said.  

Maine will also cross over to the rival network to do a movie with Carlo Aquino titled, “Isa Pa With Feelings.”

“Sobrang excited na kong gawin ‘yung movie with Carlo lalo na nung nabalitaan ko with Carlo pa siya. Actually bukas magsta-start na siya. Wala pa kaming release date, pero excited na ko kasi I would get to work with new people. ‘Di ba exciting ‘yun na parang lumalawak yung mundo mo sa showbiz?” Maine pointed out.

In its Twitter account, Black Sheep, a film subsidiary of the Kapamilya network, announced that Maine will be paired with Carlo in the upcoming movie "Isa Pa With Feelings."

"Welcome to the Black Sheep fam, @mainedcm! #IsaPaWithFeelings, comin’ at ya soon  #CarloMaineBlackSheep," Black Sheep wrote on Twitter.

According to the director, Prime Cruz, "Isa Pa With Feelings" is about two broken people who will meet each other.

For the movie, Black Sheep will collaborate with APT Entertainment, producer of GMA-7's noontime show "Eat Bulaga!," where Maine and Alden are among the mainstay hosts.
