WATCH: Alden Richards reveals why Daniel Padilla visited him
MANILA, Philippines — "Hello, Love, Goodbye" star Alden Richards shared what happened when he first met his co-star Kathryn Bernardo's boyfriend, Daniel Padilla.
During their recent press conference for the Star Cinema movie, Alden shared that the movie paved way not only for him to know more about Kathryn, but also about Daniel, who both belong to the love team KathNiel, considered as rival of his love team with Maine Mendoza, AlDub.
"Si DJ po, nagkikita rin kami 'pag may events, pero 'Hi,' 'Hello' lang," Alden admitted.
He only came to know Daniel more when he began filming with Kathryn.
"The first time we met officially, nag-usap kami, was nung pumunta si DJ sa tent ko. 'Di po sa Hong Kong. 'Di kami nagkita d'un. Nagkita pero nagkahiyaan, s'yempre," Alden clarified.
“Mabait po si Daniel. Talagang nag-congratulate s’ya, kinongratulate n’ya ‘yung pelikula, at nagpasamalamat po s’ya na inalagaan ko rin si Kathryn.”
Alden proudly declared that he did not offend anyone, including Daniel, while doing the film, especially when shooting sweet scenes with Kathryn.
“So, parang ang gaan-gaan po ng pelikula kasi wala po kaming nasagasaang kahit sinong tao dito. And nagawa po namin ‘yung pelikula, natapos po namin ‘yung pelikula na peaceful. Very peaceful,” Alden assured.
