Dingdong Dantes, Marian Rivera celebrate Easter by sharing new baby’s photos
MANILA, Philippines — Kapuso royalties and real life couple Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera celebrated Easter Sunday by showing their newborn son Sixto to the world.
In his Instagram account, Dingdong posted a close-up photo of Marian with their son Sixto. He said in the caption: “I believe we all need that spiritual awakening, that cannonball moment— as inspired by St. Ignatius — a reminder that without Him, nothing is possible.”
“We asked for a healthy sibling to Letizia and he blessed us with boy— a bonus indeed,” Dingdong said.
“Today in His resurrection, days after the birth of Sixto, we are again reminded of our mission in this world. Through this blessing, i have renewed my commitment to live a more meaningful life not just for myself, but for my family and others as well. He is graciously alive in all of us, and His presence is definitely overflowing through my son, through my wife and Letizia,” he added.
The Kapuso leading man also added that they rejoiced their joyful beginning as a “sQUAD” five days ago.
“Today, we rejoice as the Beloved Son is Risen!” he added.
For her part, Marian recalled how she and husband Dingdong dreamt of having their own baby after God gave them Zia.
“Noon, nangarap kaming magkaroon ng supling at binigyan Niya kami ng isa. Makalipas ang tatlong taon, humingi kami at ibinigay Niya,” Marian posted on her Instagram.
“Ang magkaroon ng isa pang lalaking anak ay sagot sa aming mga dasal, kaya’t naguumapaw ang aking puso sa biyayang ito. Akala ko hindi ko kakayanin, ngunit, nakaraos ako dahil sa supporta ng mga nagmamahal sa pamilya namin, lalung-lalo na dahil sa mga dasal niyong lahat. Maraming salamat,” she added.
She added that Easter is a reminder that everyone is a gift from God to each of us. This Easter, she said, is the happiest Easter of her life because of her family.
“Ngayong nabuhay na ulit si Hesus, muling ipinapaalala ng araw na ito na lahat tayo ay biyaya ng Diyos sa isa’t-isa,” she said.
“Happy Easter. Ito na marahil ang pinakamasayang Pasko Ng Pagkabuhay ng aking buong pakikipagsapalaran sa mundong ito dahil sila— si Dong, si Letizia at si Sixto— sila ang aking buhay,” she enthused.
