Yasmien Kurdi graduates magna cum laude in Political Science

MANILA, Philippines — Kapuso actress Yasmien Kurdi graduated magna cum laude from Arellano University with a degree of Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.

“Finally! I am beyond grateful and humbled. All the hard work for many years in College paid off. To all the working students, never stop reaching for your goals and dreams in life! Do your best all the time :),” she wrote. 

“Life is hard but you have to keep pushing forward. Feed your mind with positivity like ideas of success, not failure. Let life be a learning experience and always believe in yourself! Thank you Arellano University. To God Be The Glory,” she added. 

In another post, she thanked her family for supporting her and for being an inspiration. She also said she wanted to become her daughter’s good example to achieve her own dream.

“Salamat sa pamilya ko, sa asawa ko na si Rey sa pagmamahal, pag gabay, pagiintindi at inspirasyon na binibigay mo sa aking buhay. Yasmien added that she dedicates her award to her mother for her sacrifices.

“Sa aking Ina, ang aking pinaka-unang guro... salamat sa pagpapalaki at pagsasakripisyo ng maraming bagay sa buhay mo para sa akin. Para sayo ito Ma! Mahal kita!” she said.
