What inspired you to write the song?

Anton: It’s not really just an inspiration but it’s what I’m experiencing right now. I’m also an artist so I’m basically saying or writing about what I’m going through and my worries. Of course, Miko, Gab and Aiana helped a lot with the songwriting process. It was noon and I was in the mood to make music and so I played a few chords, laid down some drums. Then I had that feeling, I was worried on what direction my career was heading. I didn’t know if the song I’m about to write would be good enough or any of the songs that I’ve written. Then the song started with “Will they listen? Would anybody hear me singing?” And it just went off from there. It took me about three hours to write the song but it would’ve been longer if my siblings and Gab haven’t helped me with it.

What made you join in recording it?

Dior: I really believe in the message of the song. Sobrang swak sa buhay ko ngayon. Aside from singing is really my passion, ang sarap lang kumanta ng mga kantang relate ka.

Angelo: I want to inspire people through my talent. I want my voice to be heard in this song.

Selena Marie: I took part in singing the song mainly because of its wonderful meaning that can serve as an inspiration to other people who want to be successful one day.

What is success for you?

Mastermind: Success to us is happiness. Once you are happy and contented in whatever you do, it means you are successful.

Chef Anton: Success, for me, is to be able to achieve all my goals and to be in a position to use my God-given talents to inspire people.

Eian: Success, for me, is to become the person you believe you were meant to be and it’s nothing to me if there is no one to share it with.

Paulo: To achieve all my goals in life: Career success here in showbiz, to be able to support myself and family, have a long, healthy life.

Selena Marie: Success, for me, is doing what I love with a pure heart while surrounded by people who make me genuinely happy.

What does it take to shine?

Dior: It takes humility to shine. When you are humble, people will look up to you. Lahat ng nasa showbiz maganda at gwapo, lahat may talento, lahat may kanya-kanyang personality pero hindi lahat humble.

Selena Marie: Showbiz is an industry full of stars that shine in their own way. What makes one artist shine brighter is the authenticity and uniqueness that he/she has. One should have an answer to the question, “What makes you different?”

Paulo: Faith in God, hard work, and, of course, a great mentor and coach.

Chef Anton: Talent plus hard work. I am not completely sure about this one, since I have yet to reach that stage. But for me, hard work is an absolute must. You got to show people and the universe how bad you really want it, and go look for the right people to support you. It could be your family, friends, and your manager/management team.

Mastermind: There is no formula because we believe in destiny but perhaps the best way is just believe in yourself and everything will follow.

Do you feel it’s easy to succeed in showbiz?

Angelo: No, because becoming popular is not just about having the talent and the good looks, one must also know how to blend with people and be ready to face all the challenges.

Chef Anton: Much like in every other field, there are no shortcuts. You got to be prepared in all the challenges, make an effort to what you believe in, and be thankful of the little things you achieve.

Eian: No, it’s so difficult because the competition is very tough.

Selena Marie: Honestly, no. Other people just see the glamour of the artists on the spotlight. What they don’t notice is the amount of hard work and determination an artist puts in every performance that he/she does. It’s not easy to succeed in showbiz, but since it’s my lifelong dream, I don’t mind it being difficult at all.

How long are you willing to wait for stardom?

Paulo: I don’t care how long or what age I will be able to reach it. I know I have my time to be on top — in God’s perfect (time).

Dior: I am willing to wait hanggang sa makamit ko ang mga pangarap ko. Kahit gaano pa yan katagal. No words can describe; tiyaga lang talaga.

Angelo: Until it comes dahil ‘pag gustong-gusto mo ang isang bagay hindi ka mapapagod maghintay.

Selena Marie: Good things come to those who wait. For me, this is something immeasurable because stardom can happen anytime, even in the least expected time/moment. But as a passionate dreamer, I’m willing to wait. Even if it takes years.
