Making Net-browsing more fun

MANILA, Philippines – It cannot be denied that access to a reliable broadband network is part of the everyday life of most people these days. As we are introducing it to the market, the unit only costs P888 that comes preloaded with free Internet for three months (350 MB of data per month).”

Moreover, Gary says that at a lesser price, more things can be done as the broadband connection can be shared with friends during gimiks or group study. They can either chip in to reload the unit or own one since “it is cheaper than lounging into the café while Net-browsing.”

That’s not all as Smart is bringing its Smart Bro 4G pocket WiFi promo nationwide with celebrity BRO-kadas MJ Lastimosa, Michael Pangilinan, siblings Michelle and Marco Gumabao and Gretchen Ho.

“It’s really an exciting offer, it’s the best deal so when you want to announce it, you will announce it also in an exciting manner. We don’t want to do it in a regular way of selling like we’ll just announce it that it’s only P888; that’s not too special so we wanna engage personalities that would resonate well to the market,” says Gary.

“That’s why we start off with beauty queens and we are adding more like teen stars who have lots of following on mainstream as well as online. There are sports personalities, too, but I can’t tell the names yet because we still have to finalize the deal. And then we have regional influences as well to create the buzz for the campaign,” he adds.

In a press release, Smart first VP of wireless consumer broadband Oscar Reyes stated that the tour is geared to empower Smart subscribers nationwide to enjoy their summer and share with friends their pocket WiFi. By joining in the fun, they also get awesome prizes like adventure vouchers worth P10,000 for top summer getaway destinations such as Sandbox Adventure Park, Enchanted Kingdom. The vouchers can also be used for white water rafting adventure or stay in a resort in Samal Island.

“You see, w e don’t undersell a really good offer,” Gary says. “There has to be something extraordinary happening while we offer our best deal.”
