Chiz to have honeymoon with Heart after conceding in VP race
MANILA, Philippines – After the tiring election circus, Sen. Francis “Chiz” Escudero plans to finally have his long overdue honeymoon with wife Heart Evangelista.
Escudero has conceded in the vice presidential race Tuesday morning after seeing the trend, where Camarines Sur Rep. Leni Robredo and Sen. Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos lead the unofficial tallies.

“Siguro 'yung matagal nang naudlot na honeymoon ay matutuloy na,” he said in a brief announcement of his concession.
The couple was married in Feb. 15, 2015 and didn’t have a proper honeymoon due to the preparations for Escudero’s vice presidential campaign.
Aside from their honeymoon, the senator also looks forward to “quieter times at mas maraming time sa pamilya.”
He has two children from ex-wife Christine Elizabeth Flores.
