Tabaco lass is 2016 Mutya ng Daragang Magayon

MANILA, Philippines - Inspired by Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach, Lyra Velchez on her third try won 2016 Mutya ng Daragang Magayon at finals held at the Albay Astrodome in Legazpi City hosted by 2014 Miss Universe-Philippines MJ Lastimosa with Alex Medina and JC de Vera providing song numbers.

Runners-up were: Jenny Rose Ignacio (Legazpi City), first; Monalyn Abaluado (Legazpi City), second; and Almasor Marjorie Vista (Malinao), third. Katrina Villanueva (Legazpi City) was named Miss Tourism.
