Coleen Garcia leaves 'It's Showtime'

MANILA, Philippines — Coleen Garcia confirmed that she is no longer part of the ABS-CBN noontime show 'It's Showtime."

In an interview with the ABS-CBN news program "TV Patrol" aired Wednesday, Coleen said she will be focusing on her acting career.

The 23-year-old actress is currently part of the late afternoon drama "Pasion de Amor."

"I don't know if I'll be returning. I don't think I will be kasi management actually talked to me and they want me to focus on acting," she said.

Coleen also said she will be working on a movie with Piolo Pascual and Dawn Zulueta.

"It's Showtime" recently added Mariel Rodriguez and Amy Perez in its roster of hosts. — Chuck Smith
