Triple victory for Sam Concepcion
MANILA, Philippines - It was a triple victory for Sam Concepcion in last Sunday’s episode of ASAP 2014 as he celebrated his post-birthday singing his current hit song Mahal Na Mahal.
But what he didn’t know was that he would be receiving not one but three record awards — a Double Platinum Digital Award for the Philpop winning single Dati, a Platinum Digital Award for the single Mahal na Mahal and a Gold Record Award for his current solo album Infinite under Universal Records.
Surprised by the number of citations, Sam said, ‘This is for the Samsters! You never fail to surprise me. The Gold, Platinum and Double Platinum don’t mean anything without you. To the people who believed in me first, Universal Records Philippines, Kathleen Dy-Go (in photo with Sam), Stages and Star Magic, I will always be grateful.
