Birthday treat for Balikbayan Tim E.

MANILA, Philippines - Taking time off from his job at the US Immigration and Customs, Tim Evans (in sombrero) took a quick trip home to celebrate his birthday (Nov. 19) with family and friends, and to spend time with his mom, Nenita Evans, who turned 90 a few months ago. Monday night, Happy Ongpauco (far left) hosted a dinner for Tim at her newly-opened Pamana restaurant on Mother Ignacia St., at the back of ABS-CBN. Wednesday night was the turn of Caloy Valera (left, second from right) to host a dinner at Spiral of Sofitel.
