Celebrity Dance Battle finals set
MANILA, Philippines - It’s an all-out war among the five celebrity finalists Priscilla Meirelles, Ciara Sotto, Gary “El Granada†David, Rafa Siguion-Reyna and Iwa Moto as they try to outshine each other to become the first Celebrity Dance Battle champion. The grand winner will bring home P1M.
PBA fans were able to see the other side of Gary during the eliminations and he is ready to show that he is not just an ace cager on the hardcourt, but he, too, can score high on the dancefloor. “I’m so happy that I joined this competition, lalo na ng mag-trending ang performance ko sa social media,†shared Gary during the presscon held at Tao Yuan Restaurant in Resorts World Manila. On the other hand, Priscilla will show that she hasn’t lost her dancing prowess.
Iwa, for her part, will showcase her trademark sultry dance moves as she lives up to her image as the true dance vixen.
Aside from her pole dancing talent, Ciara can also establish rapport with a dance partner in order to create a grand finals-worthy dance routine. Lastly, wild card winner Rafa will try to win the nod of the judges to prove that he should emerge as the winner of the intense dance battle. “Happy ako at naka-abot ako sa finals kahit di ko genre ang ballroom, more on hip-hop kasi ako,†said Rafa.
Judges are Douglas Nierras, Joey Reyes, Edna Ledesma, G. Tongi and Allison Harvard. Hosted by Lucy Torres-Gomez, with Semerad twins Anthony and David, the Celebrity Dance Battle grand finals will air tomorrow night at 9 on TV5. — VER PAULINO
