Enchong and Erich together again after 3 years of separation

MANILA, Philippines- Enchong Dee and Erich Gonzales will be together again in a movie this year.

The love team has been separated for three years after working on the ABS-CBN teleserye “Maria la del Barrio” in 2011.

“Pinag-uusapan nga namin na parang excited kami sa isa’t isa,” Enchong said in an interview Sunday morning, January 26 at the 1K@Amway fun run.

“But at the same time kinakabahan kami because we haven’t worked for so long. Buti na lang hindi nila kami pinabayaan after three years of break,” he added.

Enchong went straight to the fun run immediately after arriving from Dubai, where he went for a show with the other Kapamilya stars of ASAP.

He said he can’t help but admire the Filipinos overseas they met in Dubai because even if they are seas away from their families, they can still manage to smile.

“Nakakatuwa kasi parang hindi ako nakakita ng Pilipino na malungkot parang lahat nakatawa, lahat masaya,” he said describing the Filipinos they encountered in Dubai.

“Kaya buti na lang talaga nadadala namin ang ASAP sa iba’t ibang lugar kasi makikita mo talaga kung gaano kasabik ‘yong mga tao na maramdaman nilang Kapamailya talaga, Kapatid, Kapuso na sa TV nila mapapanood makikita nila in person.”

Business-minded

Aside from being busy with his showbiz career, Enchong is also busy with his businesses.

One is a newly-built commercial building which is already open for leasing. He is also an independent business owner (IBO) of Amway products.

“Siyempre alam naman nating lahat na ang pag-a-artista hindi panghabangbuhay, 'di ba?” he replied when asked what convinced him to venture into business.

“Pero while you’re here, grab the opportunities na dumating sa buhay mo. So ando’n ako ngayon,” he said.

He relates that he was encouraged by the executives of the brand he’s endorsing to be an IBO with the help of his mom.

“Kasi sabi nila parang mas maganda, last year endorser lang ako. Now, endorser na ko tapos business owner na rin ako at the same time.

“Parang kailangan ko ‘yong tulong ni mama sa pag-handle ng IBO kasi kailangan totoo sa costumers tsaka dapat na-i-explain mo maigi sa costumers ‘yong product, so si mama sa part doon. Pero kaming dalawa ‘yong na independent business owner.”

This is why Encong encourages people to join the 1K@Amway fun run because aside from being fit and healthy, they can also start a business with only one thousand pesos by being an IBO themselves.

“Meron kaming 1K@Amway,” he relates. “Isa ito sa mga hino-hold na fun run every now and then. So puwede sila pumunta doon, sumali sila sa fun run and after ng run puwede na sila mag-apply being an IBO.”

Two more fun runs will be held, one is on February 9 in Cagayan de Oro City, and another is on February 16 in Davao City.
