Korina Sanchez reacts to Anderson Cooper’s 'mali-mali' report
MANILA, Philippines- Korina Sanchez reacted to CNN reporter Anderson Cooper’s report.
In Sanchez’ morning radio show “Rated Korina†over dzMM, Wednesday morning, Nov 13, she had a blind item for her listeners describing a “blonde reporter ng CNN†whom she claims are giving reports that are “mali-mali,†Philippine Entertainment Portal reports.
Sanchez is the wife of DILG Secretary Mar Roxas, who is one of the Cabinet members in charge of the relief operations.
Aside from his report in CNN, Copper also posted several tweets describing what he sees in Tacloban, which is one of the most affected areas in Visayas by typhoon Yolanda.
Cooper said that there’s no “real evidence of organized recovery†in the area and that the people in Tacloban “deserve better than what they have gotten.â€

Sanchez further said in her blind item: “Mukhang hindi niya alam ang sinasabi niya (It seems he does not know what he is saying).â€
These comments from the radio and TV anchor stirred different reactions from netizens, but most of them were irked.
Somebody slap Korina Sanchez. Because of her reaction, Anderson had to explain himself for those tweets. He only reported what he saw!

Meanwhile, some from Twitter said that Cooper reacted to Sanchez’ statements this morning, Nov 14. There he clarified that he’s describing the “disorganize†relief operations, not that there’s no relief operations for the victims.
Ayan sinagot na ni @andersoncooper si Korina Sanchez. Kung ano lang nakikita ni Anderson yun lang nirereport nya.
