MANILA, Philippines - Some showbiz personalities are supporting Bantay Partylist Rep. Jovito Palparan Jr. (second from right), for senator. Among them are Leo Martinez (second from left), Sonny Parson, directors Romy Suzara, Jose Carreon and Pablo Vergara (who composed Palparan’s campaign jingle). Leo Films producer Sixto Dy is interested in filming Palparan’s life story.
