Echo happily single

The Philippine Star

Jericho Rosales (photo) has remained single for quite some time, but his recent status doesn’t take away the fact that Jericho is still in love… in love with his craft and passion for music.

Now on his 12th anniversary in the entertainment scene, Jericho has been getting positive feedback for his portrayal of Miguel’s character on ABS-CBN’s top-rating series Dahil May Isang Ikaw.

Jericho shared in an interview that he is in love with music: “In love ever since. Iba kasi ang pagkanta sa pag-arte. In acting, you have a director who instructs you on what kind of emotion you should express. I’m on my own with my music. I can sing any song the way I want it. I can fully express myself.”

Star Records felt Echo’s love for music and so has released his solo album. “Jericho tried entering the music scene with his band, but this time, will put on the spotlight on Echo,” said Annabelle Regalado-Borja, managing director of Star Records. Jericho related his album would be different from the one he did before with his band. “It’s a guitar-driven album,” he described. “Somewhat acoustic. Ang isa ring catch nito, per track, iba’t ibang gitarista na mga kaibigan ko ang nag-participate.

Jericho’s first solo album Change features 14 tracks that will engage listeners. Songs include Your Smiling Face, Tin Man, Change The World, Guitar Man, Cool Change, carrier single Pusong Ligaw, I Love Your Ways, Naaalala Ka, Lost Without Your Love, And I Love Her, Love Bug, Hanggang Ngayon, and two bonus tracks namely, Di Bale Na Lang and Beautiful In My Eyes.
