John Legend's Little Asia experience

MANILA, Philippines - Little Asia was co-presenter and official caterer in the recent show of John Legend (center, with Little Asia’s Charlemagne Lim, right and Nelson Manabat) in Manila.

The restaurant, located along Tomas Morato Ave., Quezon City has 10 new dishes specially for Mother’s Day.

Some of the dishes Legend enjoyed at Little Asia were Thai Shrimp Cakes, breaded shrimp patties served with sweet chili sauce; Indian Minced Meat Samosas, fried parcels of spiced ground meat and peas; Chicken with Almonds in Lemon Sauce, almond crusted chicken in lemon sauce; Drunken Chicken in Mushroom Brown Sauce, pan seared boneless chicken mixed with mushrooms, asparagus and a touch of white wine;

Sukiyaki, thinly sliced beef, vegetables, vermicelli noodles, tofu and enoki mushrooms simmered in a sweet soy-mirin sauce; Lambloin Butteryaki, pan seared lambloin with teriyaki butter sauce; Coconut Prawns, quick-fried prawns in coconut cream sauce with mixed spices; and Shanghai Codfish in Clay Pot, US codfish simmered with ginger and onions.
