Early registration set for 27th Sunsport basketball camp

CEBU, Philippines — A week-long early registration period has been set for the 27th Sunsport Basketball Training Camp. This will be on March 30 to April 5.

This year’s edition of the longest and best run cage clinic in Cebu is set to kick off on April 6 at the Sacred Heart Center Sports Club along D. Jakosalem Street in Cebu City.

The first level of training, which will run until April 30, will focus on the fundamentals of playing hoops. At this stage, students will be taught on proper dribbling, shooting, passing, and footwork among others.

Level 2 or the advanced level, slated on May 4-29, will tackle on the technical aspect of the game such as on-court communication, defensive strategies and other related drills.

Training sessions are set on weekdays, from 8 to 10 a.m. for seven to 11-year-old campers, and from 10 a.m. to 12nn for the 12-19 age group.

Registration fee is pegged at 1,500 inclusive of Sunsport basketball 2020 edition, jersey, shoe bag, and t-shirt. One may visit www.sunsportball.com  to download the registration form.
