Poblacion scores 4-peat in Cordova hoop
CEBU, Philippines - The Mark Abadia-led Poblacion of coach Lemar Baguio bested Catarman, 86-74, in the deciding match of their best-of-three finals series to win the seniors division crown of the 6th Addy Sitoy Cup basketball tournament last Sunday night at the Cordova Sports Complex.
Abadia, who was held scoreless in the first period, made up from his poor start with savvy to topscore Poblacion with 24 points.
Hometown favorite Janjan Degamo chipped in 23 markers, even as three other Poblacion cagers chipped in double figures.
Catarman was led by UV Lancer Junnard Premacio with 18 points.
