Brillo, Verano shine in Sibugay beach volley

CEBU, Philippines - Jusabelle Brillo and Ericka Camille Verano proved once again they're a force to reckon with as they dominated an invitational beach volleyball tournament in Sibugay, Zamboanga.

Interestingly, Brillo and Verano delivered gold medal for Cebu during the POC-PSC Philippine National Games two months ago in Dumaguete City.

In the Sibugay tilt, Brillo and Verano defeated Michelle Cabual and Maria Luz Jamarolin in the final.

Brillo, a former member of the national team, is a product of the University of the Visayas (UV), while Verano was also a collegiate star during his playing days with the University of Southern Philippines Foundation (USPF). (FREEMAN)
