Danny Aying, Jercules Tangkay and Alex Cainglet were on the firing end as Ave Maria rallied to its second straight victory after getting past ThreeSixty Pharmacy-Online Training Camp, 93-89, during the opening day.

Aying churned out 18 points, while Tangkay and Alex Cainglet banged in 17 markers apiece for Ave Maria, which dictated the pace of the match from the outset on the way to post a 12-point advantage at halftime, 51-39.

The Cyber Knights fought back in the third canto through the efforts of Eliud Poligrates and Mark Magsumbol, but the best they could muster was to pull within seven points, 62-69.

Tangkay, Alex Cainglet and Kurt Amores then staged a spirit counter-attack to seal the deal for Ave Maria.

Poligrates had 24 points, while Stephen Padilla chipped in 17 points for ACT, which could not recover from its 98-96 loss to the Southwestern University (SWU) Cobras last Sunday.
