Sun Valley-Atan Guardo scores in BRAA hoop

CEBU - The Sun Valley dribblers of sports patron Atan Guardo ended the elimination round of the Banawa Residents Athletic Association (BRAA) with a bang as they demolished Greenbank-Fuente, 92-75, at the Banawa open court.

Having problems in field goal shooting, the Guardo cagers relied on their speed and quickness to baffle the Greenbank cagers.

Sun Valley trailed by two at halftime, 40-42, but started to wax hot in the third perid to grab the lead, 66-62, for good behind the efforts of Michael Cinco and Richard Gubaton.

 Cinco charted 20 points and Gubaton had 14 markers as Sun Valley finished the elimination round with a clean 3-0 slate to lead Group C. The other Atan Guardo-owned team Yob Kala paced Group A with a 2-1 win- loss card.
