It’s vote-selling, Caraga bets claim

The Living Word Christian Ministry (LWCM-Aces) of coach Al Solis guns for its fourth consecutive win today in the resumption of the 2007 CnetsBL Summer Conference at the IBC gym in Banawa, this city.

The LWCM-Aces notched its third win in-a-row after scoring an 89-64 demolition over the Church of Praise last Sunday. It was former USJ-R Baby Jaguar, TJ Caparros, who led the Aces with 18 points last Sunday while JJ Dosemeo and Jaime Pacquiao had 17 and 14 points, respectively.

The game between the USC Baby Warriors against the Church of Praise tonight is only an exhibition game and therefore, it would not affect the team standings.

The Church of Praise is lagging at the cellar with 0-4 win-loss record.

Meanwhile, the Praise Cathedral bounced back from a nine-point loss to the Aces and vented its ire against the Pardo Baptist Church whom it pulverized by 58 points.

Of the seven players fielded in by playing coach Woodrow Enriquez, six of them scored in double figures, led by Anjan Cabahug with 24 points even as Wilmar Abaquita and Sting Espinosa had 18 points apiece.

Chino Uy had 17 points for Pardo Baptist, Wire Estoce added 16 and Mikmik Sargeant added 10 points. The win improved Praise Cathedral’s win-loss record to 2-1 while Pardo dropped to 1-2. (GGM)
