Town to check subdivisions for compliance
CEBU, Philippines – The chairman of the Consolacion Municipal Council committee on land use said the town will check all existing subdivisions and on-going developments to make sure these firms comply with requirements set by the town and the Housing and Land Use Regulatory Board.
Councilor Iluminado Alin said a number of subdivision presently operate in the town, aside from other on-going constructions.
Alin said most of these subdivisions have been granted permits by the previous administration.
He said barangay officials should also help the town council in this endeavor.
Alin said sometimes residents residing near the subdivisions complain about the drainage.
"Gusto nato nga walay problema nga mutumaw ug ang katawhan na hinoon maoy masakrispisyo," said Alin. (FREEMAN)
