Cebuano developer lines up projects for Mindanao

CEBU, Philippines — Cebuano property developer Priland Development Corporation is poised to venture into projects outside of Cebu chasing the promising real estate sector especially in Mindanao.

Priland Development Corporation Ramon Carlo Yap revealed in an interview that aside from the company’s aggressive stance in expanding its property development portfolio in Cebu province, locations outside of Cebu also look rosy.

Starting next year, the company will introduce new projects in the cities of Davao and Cagayan de Oro.

Yap said the company is ready to address the rising demand for residential and office units in Mindanao in particular.

Mindanao’s huge land deposits has all the more encouraged the company to out in their capital expenditure, while Cebu’s diminishing supply of good properties hampered the company’s urge to develop more projects within the province.

Priland will soon introduce a mid to high-end residential project in Davao City, situated in a 50 hectare property.

Just like other Cebuano development companies, like Cebu Landmasters Inc., Grand Land Inc., among others, Priland has also seen Mindanao’s potential to expand their operations.

The company has already announced that it will spend at an estimated P3 billion for three more projects in Cebu that will be launched within the year.

Since 2013, Priland has launched eight projects situated within Metro Cebu. These projects are in various stages of developments and are mostly sold out.
