UPLIFT walang educational assistance

MANILA, Philippines — Nagbabala ang Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) laban sa mga pekeng Facebook page at online post na nag-aalok umano ng educational assistance sa ilalim ng UPLIFT program kapalit ng personal na impormasyon.

Ayon sa DSWD, kumakalat online ang mga post na nagsasabing may matatanggap na P2,000 ang elementary pupils, P3,000 junior high school students, P5,000 senior high school students at P8,000 college students bilang educational assistance.

Iginiit ni DSWD Assistant Secretary Irene Dumlao na walang educational assistance sa ilalim ng UPLIFT Assistance at wala ring registration process para rito. Aniya, predetermined na ang mga benepisyaryo batay sa latest Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) data.
