Coconuts have many health benefits and can be made into many different products. This week I will just talk about two of them: Coconut water and Coconut oil.

Honorio Banario is both excited and relieved. Only he is not showing it. He's as cool as a man inside the air-conditioned confines of a five-star hotel and away from the scorching summer heat.

Comparisons will come and go. The public will scrutinize who the better brother is. It's up to the siblings how they will treat it. And luckily, for Philippine badminton, Patrick and Justin Natividad are working hand-in-hand with each other, all the while staying competitive and promoting the sport.

It is the 8th day of May as I write this. It seems that the trend for me lately is to write posts on my phone while in the hospital. This post, I am a bit sad to say, is no different.

As of this writing, our newborn is already 10 days old. How quickly time flies! It seems like only yesterday that we were busy preparing for her birth.

I'm no pro in writing about boxing or mixed martial arts for that matter, but when Professor Floyd Mayweather, Jr. walked into that ring to start the class earlier this morning, Manila time? By gods was that some Sweet Science 101 session he conducted.

I'm writing this on my phone while in my hospital room. On Monday, April 22, 2013, at around 10.40 p.m., I gave birth to our third child, a beautiful little girl, who unfortunately has to stay in the hospital for about a week. She has to undergo phototherapy and antibiotic treatment due to her having jaundice and sepsis.

All the hard work and pain of natural childbirth was worth it - welcome to the outside world, baby girl!

He is punctual to say the least. This is a world champion here taking the time out of his busy schedule to call long distance from Seattle to Manila and he's apologizing to call at 7 a.m. in the morning.

As I write this, I'm waiting for my turn at my OB-gyne's clinic, praying for the victims of the Boston Marathon bombing. I am shocked, saddened, and praying for peace, justice, healing and forgiveness to flow not only in Boston, but in every place that has been rocked by violence.

As the Azkals prepare for the Maldives joust, I still see something irreparably wrong and very difficult to shore up as match day approaches. As a football fan, it's something I really cringe at everytime I stare down at the pitch, whether it's from my stadium seat or my boob tube.

Every day, I realize more and more the importance of letting go, especially if you are a parent. As a self-confessed "control freak," this is certainly not something that's easy for me to do. Letting go and letting things "just be" are not actions that I can easily take.

More and more athletes these days are turning their attention not at their craft but with what comes with it. Namely, the freebies, the leverage and pretty much everything under the sun. What's alarming is that, parents of some of these “stars" also join in the fun and that's where it could get messy.
