Ayala Malls Style Origin lights up Greenbelt with music, art and style

Greenbelt 5 presents Filipino designers

MANILA, Philippines - Last June 23, MAS! More Music, Art and Style at Ayala Malls by Style Origin officially opened in Greenbelt 5 with a gala fashion show that featured homegrown and international brands, as well as Filipino designers.

Now on its sixth year, Style Origin banners the Ayala Malls tradition of being ahead of the trends, whether in music, art or fashion, having mounted some of the most exciting events over the past years. Style Origin features the works of Filipino designers, as well as retail brands in community fashion shows. This year, bloggers have been added to the roster of featured models, as well as performances by local bands and DJs.

Music was represented by Nix Damn P. Art came in the form of a mural/photowall by Greenbelt’s community of artists Piaget Martelino, Sigmund Torre, Takako Sono, Paolo Rosero, and Jeffrey Jay Jarin.

The Philippine STAR, a long-time partner of the Ayala Malls, led the opening ceremonies, represented by STAR Lifestyle editor Millet Mananquil, senior vice president for sales and marketing Lucien Dy Tioco, vice president and head of Ayala Malls Group Rowena Tomeldan, vice president and head of leasing and operations of Ayala Malls Group Myrna Fernandez, area head of Greenbelt and Glorietta June Vasquez, Ayala Malls head of marketing Maricris Bernardino, and general manager of Greenbelt Mina Domingo.

This year, Style Origin, with the support of its partners: The Philippine STAR, Jam 88.3, Magic 89.9, 99.5 Play FM, Wave 89.1, and 103.5 K-Lite, and Star World, bring the fashion experience to a new dimension as music, art and style combine to create a runway showcase the will invigorate, excite and inspire.

MAS! More Music, Art and Style by Style Origin will tour the rest of the Ayala Malls in the following weeks: Ayala Malls Solenad (June 25), TriNoma (June 26), Centrio Mall (July 2), Harbor Point (July 9), Bonifacio High Street (July 9), Market! Market! (July 16), Marquee Mall (July 16), Alabang Town Center (July 17), Ayala Center Cebu (July 23), UP Town Center (July 24), and Abreeza Mall (July 30).
