MANILA, Philippines - Jeron Teng dished out another triple double as unbeaten Flying V dismantled ousted Zark’s Burgers, 97-59, to move a win from sweeping the PBA D-League Foundation Cup elims at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig yesterday.

Teng poured in 20 points on an 8-of-16 clip, hauled down 16 rebounds and made 10 assists against five turnovers to become the second player to log two triple double numbers in one conference after Mike Tolomia in the 2016 Aspirants Cup.

Teng also turned in 21 points, 11 rebounds and 13 assists in Flying V’s 114-91 demolition of AMA Online Education last week.

“In our last two games, we really want to maximize it and learn as much as we can. It’s a challenge to push ourselves to the limit and improve before the playoffs,” said Teng.

He and Thomas Torres took charge in Flying V’s 10-0 start and Thunder never let up from there to fashion out the blowout win.

Jarelan Tampus and Torres finished with 14 points apiece, Gab Banal logged 11 markers while Aris Dionisio contributed 10 points for the Thunder.

Cignal HD later repelled Centro Escolar University, 96-89, to clinch the other outright semifinal berth with an 8-2 slate.

Pamboy Raymundo and Raymar Jose delivered the goods for the Hawkeyes in the last two minutes as they warded off the Scorpions, who threatened at 83-87.

Byron Villarias paced the Hawkeyes with 19 points, Jason Perkins wound up with double-double numbers of 18 points and 10 boards, Oping Sumalinog turned in 13 markers, Pamboy Raymundo and Raymar Jose chipped in 11 and 10 points, respectively.
