Bull Squad rules Red Bull 3X3 tiff

MANILA, Philippines — Last chance qualifier Bull Squad reigned supreme in the Red Bull Reign 3x3 competition at the Nagtahan Bridge Court in Manila over the weekend.
Bull Squad bested seven other squads, including G3 Apparel that was bannered by Eric "Eruption" Tai and former PBA player Willie Miller.
The team, composed of Filipino-Canadian PBA hopefuls Clay Crellin, Glenn Garvengard, Kitt Balmori and Obinna Ezeike bested Team Santa Rosa in the finals, 83-67.
"The semis were the biggest challenge (for us)," Crellin said.
The Bull Squad was the winner of the Last Chance Qualifiers in the morning.
"We started at 8:30 in the morning, so the other teams had the advantage because they got to rest," he said.
Former PBA player Vince Hizon, who served as tournament director, said the Bull Squad deserved the win.
"This has been incredible. 3x3 is a great way for teams and individuals to really improve their skill and hone their craft. They (Bull Squad) really are the best team to represent the country at the World Finals," said Hizon
Bull Squad will advance to the Red Bull Reign World Finals in Washington DC, USA to represent the country later this year.
