World Slasher Cupunfolds at Big Dome

MANILA, Philippines - The World Slasher Cup 2 unfolds today with Frank Berin (Sebastian NEJ) going for back-to-back wins and Magno Lim, Gary Tesorero and Jun Durano (ML G63) seeking to defend the WSC 2 crown at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

More than 200 local and foreign participants are in the fold with the former led by Nene Araneta, Rep. Patrick Antonio, Peping Cojuangco, Biboy Enriquez, Nestor Vendivil, Doc Ayong Lorenzo, Manny Berbano, Rey Briones, Gov. Ito Ynares, Jun Sevilla, James Uy, RC Gatchalian, Dicky Lim and Mayor Cito Alberto.

Heading the foreign contingent are Roger Roberts (Georgia), Tim Fritzgerald (Utah), Greg Saludares, Kini Kalawaii and Butch Cambria (Hawaii), Cesar Ancayan, Rene Medina, Goy Goitia, Mike Formoso and Zaldy Sandoval  (California), Richard Harris and Wilber Le Blanc (Louisiana), Owen Medina and Peter Elm (Guam), Bel Almojera (Florida), Matthew Dunne (Alabama), and Soan Sogianto (Indonesia).

For the first time, a Filipino-owned company – Excellence Poultry and Livestock Specialists – is sponsoring the event with Pitgames Media, Petron and Thunderbird as other backers.
